Milly has gone to her new home!

Milly

Here we have the beautiful Millie. She is a young friendly cat who just loves to play! She can be a bit nervous of strangers at first but soon gets settled once she is comfortable. Millie is a bit wary of fast hand movements but is improving, Unfortunately she can’t be with young children or dogs.

Hi Amy, thanks for your interest in Milly. Please could you fill in an online homing application – the link can be found on our rehoming page, underneath the photos of the cats, under the heading “How to adopt a rescue kitten/cat – Step 1”. Our volunteer homing officer will be in touch as soon as possible. Please be patient – we have received a large number of applications recently and we are slowly working our way through them. Thank you.

We have been in search of a cat after our long term one sadly died, it’s been so lonely and we miss having a cat so much! We would love to adopt Millie she will have a lovely quiet neighbourhood to wander around, as well as the garden. Our household is a quiet one with someone usually always around for the cat. Millie would be welcome into our family with open arms! How would I go about adopting her?

Hi I recently adopted a kitten from a hectic household with children, he is now in a loving and calm household. He was so shy and wouldn’t go near me or my partner to start with now he is full of energy and always wanting love, and of course we give him his space when he needs it too! Would love to adopt Milly so my kitten Lynx can have a friend, he is neutered so not wanting to breed them. Would be perfect she looks adorable!

Hi Gordon, I have now located your homing form, thank you. We’ve noted that you need a cat that will be good with children; currently all the cats we have are very shy and would need adult only homes, or homes with older, quiet children. You are on our waiting list for a “child friendly” cat. We’re happy for you to contact us again in a few weeks if you see a cat on the website you think may be suitable.

Hi. Is Milly still available? She looks just the sort of cat we are looking for! If she is still available can you tell me a bit more about her, age past history etc.

Hi we’re still hoping to adopt. We keep looking. My husband is semi retired and I am retired and have a house with fenced garden but prefer to keep our cats in overnight. We’ve had 3 cats before from cats protection and lived to be very elderly. As we lost our last cat 11 yrs and I lost my dad 5 weeks ago I’m looking for a cat that will fill both our needs of loss, needing love and care.

We have so much to give a kitty that needs a forever home. I have applied to other rehoming sites so not sure if I have done this with you already. If I have sorry to be a nuisance.
    Regards hopefully
    Sue x

    Hi
We’re interested in adopting Milly if she is still available. Have filled in a homing application so hope we can be in touch soon. Thanks.

  6. Samantha Faircloth says:

We believe that we could offer Milly a wonderful, permanent, long-term home and are interested in adopting her.

    • We have 25 years’ experience of living with cats.
    • We are an adult only household and are both calm and quiet individuals.
    • There are no other pets and we will not be adopting any other pets.
    • We live on a quiet lane and have a safe, large garden (and house) for Milly to explore.
    • One of us works permanently from home.
    • We would be happy to do a video call inside and outside of our house.

We would be delighted to welcome a shy cat in to our household.

Please would you be able to let us know whether Milly is still available? We have sent in our homing application, which we hope you have now received.

    Many thanks,
    Samantha & Giles
