Miley, now that he knows and trusts his fosterer, is a friendly cat who loves a lap and adores cuddles and a fuss.  He was a bit wary to start with, but wanted to interact.  However, because he was nervous, he would hiss and he nipped his fosterer a couple of times.  He initially did not like being stroked on his back, but after a couple of weeks he was happy to be stroked and brushed.  He needs a calm and understanding family with a slow and gentle approach, as he could easily nip in situations where he feels unsure.  As he is not keen on the cats in the pen next to him, we feel he would benefit being the only cat where he could be the centre of attention.  Once he has had a chance to settle he will be a wonderful and loved member of the household.
