Miley has been adopted!

Miley, now that he knows and trusts his fosterer, is a friendly cat who loves a lap and adores cuddles and a fuss.  He was a bit wary to start with, but wanted to interact.  However, because he was nervous, he would hiss and he nipped his fosterer a couple of times.  He initially did not like being stroked on his back, but after a couple of weeks he was happy to be stroked and brushed.  He needs a calm and understanding family with a slow and gentle approach, as he could easily nip in situations where he feels unsure.  As he is not keen on the cats in the pen next to him, we feel he would benefit being the only cat where he could be the centre of attention.  Once he has had a chance to settle he will be a wonderful and loved member of the household.

Hi we are looking for a loving lap cat for me and my father. My Dad 89 recently lost his dog and he has always had dogs and cats. Me i also have had cats in the past and are looking forward to having a companion for both of us.
Miley looks like a lovely cat and would fit in well with us. Thank you Patrick 52

I’ve fallen in love with little miley and he sounds like a perfect fit for my home. I’ve sent you an email regarding the form to be able to adopt him but I am not sure if I’ve done it right or if I should’ve messaged in here instead so I’m doing so in here as well. I live with my husband, no kids, no pets so he might feel very welcome and lived in our home.

I have always had pets around me since when I was a child and I left my home country to be here in the UK so I had to leave them with my parents and now I can only see them through videos and pictures, which makes me miss them a lot. Now I miss having a furry friend around me and Miley sounds like the perfect fit for my home. My home country is Brazil and I got a dog, a cat, a bird and a turtle all living with my parents and I know I would make Miley feel very welcome and loved. I have filled the form but I forgot to mention my interest in him, I am sorry about that, so I am messaging you over here to fix it. Thank you

Hi Carolina, thanks for your message and interest in Miley. We have received your homing application form. We have someone who is interested in Miley and he is likely to be reserved. However, if he is chosen, we have other cats that we have in care that may be suitable for you. Our volunteer homing officer will be in contact with you soon.
