Luke is a beautiful young male cat that came into the charity as a stray. An x-ray revealed that sometime in the past he had been shot with a pellet gun, and he still has a pellet lodged in his chest area. However, this is not near any major organs, and veterinary advice was not to remove it. Luke was initially nervous and it took him some time to trust his fosterer – but he has turned into a lovely playful boy who enjoys attention, and is friendly with other cats. He would suit a quiet family who will be gentle with him and give him the love he deserves.
Luke has been rehomed!

We would love to give Luke a home if he can live with children and another cat.
Hi Kerry, please could you fill in an online homing request form (available below the cat photos on the rehoming page) and someone will be in contact with you. We have had quite a few applications recently and are working through them systematically – so it may take a little while for us to get back to you. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
May I ask please if Luke is still available?
I have filled in an application already.
Thanks!
Zoe
Luke is still currently available; however, you filled in a simple contact form rather than a homing request form. We have sent you an email with a link to the homing form so that you can fill this one in. Sorry for any confusion. We look forward to receiving your homing request form soon.
Hi there.
We have had the home check visit and are now in a position to offer a cat a home. We would love to take Luke in if he can live with an animal living child.
Thanks,
Amy
Hi Amy, thanks for your message. I have asked our volunteer homing officer to contact you about Luke.
Hi Is Luke still in need of a home?
Yes, Luke is still looking for a suitable home.
Hi… please could I ask how old Luke is and if he is short or long haired?
Luke is a young cat between 1 and 2 years old. He is short-haired.
I have a quiet loving home ready for Luke if he is still looking for one. It’s just me and I have a garden and a cat flap all ready for him after he has settled. I have done a rehoming form already.

Our volunteer homing officer will be in touch with you as soon as possible – please be patient – we have received a large number of applications recently and are slowly working our way through them. Thank you.
We would love to give Luke a home if he can live with children? Thanks, Naomi x
Hi Naomi, Luke would be best placed in an adult-only home or a home with older children as he is quite shy.
How old is he and can he live with other cats and primary school age children
Hi Mazie, Luke is about one and a half years old. We do not know whether he is okay with other cats. He is a very shy boy, so would need an understanding and quiet home to allow him to settle.
Hello I am able to provide Like with a home if he is still available. I have already filled a rehoming application form.
Hi Rebecca, I’ve located your homing form and have asked our volunteer homing officer to get in touch with you.

Hi, I gave in a form awhile back and was wondering if Luke was available for adoption? We have no children in the family and no other pets. Thank you 🙂
Hi there, Luke is still looking for a home. However, I’m struggling to locate your form. Please could you forward the form (which should have also been sent to you at the time you did the application) to website@felines1st.org – if you can’t find it then let me know the approximate date you completed the homing application form and your surname so that I can search for it – as I couldn’t find it when I searched using your email address. Alternatively please complete another form, indicating that you’re interested in Luke. Thank you.

Hi Hannah, thanks for your interest in Luke. There is interest from a potential adopter ahead of you for him, but if this doesn’t work out then he will still be available. Please could you complete a homing application form – the link can be found on our rehoming page, underneath the photos of the cats, under the heading “How to adopt a rescue kitten/cat – Step 1”. Hi, im interested in adopting luke! just wondering though, how is he with dogs?
Hi Amber, we know that Luke is friendly with other cats but are not sure about dogs. I imagine as long as the dog is friendly, he should be okay. We do have someone who is interested in Luke, but if this doesn’t work out he will still be available. In the meantime, please complete a homing application form – the link can be found on our rehoming page, underneath the photos of the cats, under the heading “How to adopt a rescue kitten/cat – Step 1”. Our volunteer homing officer will be in contact soon.
