Coconut (Reserved)

Coconut

Coconut is a very shy, young, beautiful girl looking for her forever home.  She has progressed well with her current fosterer,  following rescue from a garden with several other cats where she had limited contact with people.  She loves to play and keep her fosterer company, but is still getting used to being stroked and so will need patient owners who will give her time and build her confidence.  She came in to care with Constance, and as they are good friends we would prefer them to be rehomed together.

Hi Rosie, yes, Coconut is currently still available. Please could you fill in an online homing application – the link can be found on our rehoming page, underneath the photos of the cats, under the heading “How to adopt a rescue kitten/cat – Step 1”. Our volunteer homing officer will be in touch as soon as possible.

Hi Judith, Coconut is still available, but is very shy so still needs a little time with her fosterer to bring her out of her shell a bit more.

Hi Rhiannon, thanks for your message. Coconut is still available but she is still very shy/scared and has just been moved to another fosterer who can spend a lot of time with her.
I think because she is so shy she is likely to struggle to settle in a home with young children. However, I have found your homing application form and asked our volunteer homing officer to contact you to discuss whether we have any other cats that may be suitable for your situation right now.

Hi. Is Coconut still homeless! Can you tell us a bit more of her history? We are very interested and have previously sent in our application form.

Hi Sally, thanks for your message. We have your homing form. I have asked our volunteer homing officer to get in touch with you. Coconut was rescued along with quite a few cats (including Constance who she is sharing a pen with) that were living in a garden. These cats are very shy as they probably haven’t had a lot of interaction with humans. They have just moved to another fosterer who is able to spend a lot of time with them every day. She is now able to stroke them both and we are hoping that they will become more relaxed as they settle down in this new pen.

Hi. We are in a very good position to rehoming a cat and can offer a very patient and loving home for a cat like coconut and have a great location in a rural location. Please consider us as a first choice!

    Hi,

My daughter and I completed an application form in late December last year and have been scanning different rehoming websites trying to find the perfect pair of cats for us. Originally, we were trying to get a pair of male kittens, however after seeing Coconut and Constance we have fallen in love with them and would love to give them a new home! We live locally (in Crawley) in an adult only household with no other pets (apart from fish) and have lots of experience with cats.

We’d love to hear back from you soon to start the rehoming process!

    Kind regards,
    Karen Nicoll

    Hi,

Is Coconut still available? I live alone with adult visitors now and then. My house is in a cul-de-sac and backs on to a park.
If not, would you have any other younf short haired cat available for adoption.

    Thanks,
    Pamela
