Hi Caitlin, Cleo is about 2 years old, very shy. She came into care very recently along with several other cats displayed on the website. Her fosterer is working on gaining her trust. She would be best placed in a quiet home with adults only or adults and sensible older children who would be able to give her space and time to settle. If you haven’t yet done so, please complete a homing application form – the link can be found on our rehoming page, underneath the photos of the cats, under the heading “How to adopt a rescue kitten/cat – Step 1”. Our volunteer homing officer will be in touch as soon as possible – please be patient – we have received a large number of applications recently and are slowly working our way through them. Thank you.

Hi Caitlin, as Cleo has spent quite a lot of time outdoors before she was rescued, we would prefer that she has access to outdoors in the longer term.

Hi Caitlin, all of our cats available for adoption right now have had access to outdoors and we would not want to change this for them; however, we do occasionally get cats coming in to our charity that require an indoor-only home. If you would like to be placed on a waiting list for an indoor-only cat please let us know on your adoption form, or if you have already completed an adoption form then please send an email to homing@felines1st.org

    Hi
I note that cleo needs a quiet home, I have a 9 and 10 year old so does this mean that we wouldn’t be considered? We also have another cat aged 18.
    Thanks
    Karen

Hi Karen, it does very much depend on how active your children are, but they on the young side for Cleo, who is a shy cat and could be easily scared.

    Hi,
Me and my girlfriend have wanted another cat of our own for quite some time now. We think Cleo sounds like a wonderful cat and we would be interested in adopting Cleo. Me and my girlfriend are both 18 and we have a lot of experience with cats and animals in general. Where we live at the moment, we have 1 other cat, his name is Cosmic and he’s very shy, non aggressive and neutered. I feel like me and my girlfriend will be great carers for Cleo and we would love her like she’s our own baby (we don’t have a baby but Cleo would be our baby). Thank you so much for your attention and I would love to hear from you soon.
